Clients often seek Rolfing as a non-invasive alternative to surgery or long-term medication, particularly for issues related to injury recovery, scar tissue, or musculoskeletal dysfunction. It supports structural realignment, enhances mobility, and can improve physical performance, making it valuable for both everyday function and athletic longevity.
Rolfing has a reputation for being painful, but most clients are surprised by how good it feels. Sensations vary—some areas feel like a deep release, others may be tender depending on your body’s history. Any discomfort is a “good hurt” and never forced. You stay actively involved, and the pace is always adjusted to what you can comfortably handle.
Yes. Rolfing creates long-term change by improving how your body holds and distributes weight and stress. As your structure shifts, your body rebuilds itself in better alignment—so results often last for years, even after just one series.
The 10-Series is Dr. Ida Rolf’s signature approach to improving how your body moves and functions. It’s a structured sequence of ten sessions, each with a specific focus, designed to gradually unwind tension and improve alignment. Think of it as a full body tune-up. While the framework stays consistent, each session is adapted to your individual needs, ensuring the work is both effective and personalized.
Not at all. Start with one session and see how you feel. Most people notice changes within the first few visits. Session three is a natural checkpoint—if you’re seeing progress, that’s a great time to decide whether to continue and commit to the full series over the next few months.
That’s up to you. Some clients feel great and don’t return, while others come in occasionally for tune-ups—especially athletes, desk workers, or those with chronic issues. Some use Rolfing instead of massage, and others return for focused follow-up sessions months later. There’s no right way—just what works best for your body.
Fabulous. Rolfing and chiropractic care work well together. Chiropractic adjusts bones to restore joint function, while Rolfing works on the connective tissue that holds those bones in place. If your adjustments aren’t holding, tight or imbalanced fascia may be the reason—and Rolfing can help make those changes more lasting.
Massage and Rolfing serve different purposes. Massage focuses on relaxation, while Rolfing aims to improve alignment and long-term function. Both are beneficial, and they complement each other well. After completing the 10-Series, regular bodywork—whether massage or Rolfing—can help maintain your results and overall well-being.
Movement.. Rolfing introduces new movement possibilities, but it’s up to you to use them. Regular activity helps your body integrate these changes and keep them. If you don’t use it, you lose it—your body won’t maintain options it doesn’t need. Movement keeps you flexible, functional, and feeling your best.
Rolfers are trained and certified through the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado—the only accredited school for Rolfing. The certification process typically takes two years and includes in-depth study of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, Rolfing theory, movement integration, and manual therapy techniques. Students also complete extensive hands-on clinical work under supervision. Continuing education is required to maintain certification, and Rolfers must also stay in good standing with the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute to remain listed as a certified practitioner.
We do not accept traditional health insurance as we have found that most do not cover manual therapy. However, we are able to accept HSA/FSA cards if you have a Health or Flex Savings Account.
PEMF sessions are deeply relaxing—you simply lie on a mat while the technology does the work. Most people feel calm, rested, and sometimes even energized afterward, often with reduced aches and tension.
PEMF delivers pulsed magnetic energy to stimulate cellular function. It boosts ATP production, improves oxygenation, balances cell activity, and helps clear toxins—supporting healing and overall wellness at the cellular level.
PEMF therapy supports brain function and emotional well-being by improving circulation, oxygenation, and cellular repair. It boosts nitric oxide (NO) production, which promotes vasodilation and enhances microvascular blood flow—beneficial for recovery from stroke, traumatic brain injury, and cognitive decline.
Yes—PEMF therapy has been shown to calm the nervous system, lower cortisol, balance brainwaves, and promote deep relaxation. It’s an effective, non-invasive option for reducing stress, improving sleep, and easing anxiety. Studies also support its benefits for anxiety disorders, including PTSD. With regular use—even at home—PEMF can provide lasting relief and emotional resilience.
PEMF therapy stimulates blood vessels by promoting vasodilation and improving circulation. This helps deliver more oxygen and nutrients to cells while enhancing waste removal.
PEMF uses electromagnetic fields to stimulate healing at the cellular level, while TENS uses low-voltage electrical currents to block pain signals by stimulating sensory nerves. Though both involve energy-based therapies, PEMF supports deeper, long-term cellular repair, while TENS provides temporary pain relief.
Yes—the mat is an FDA-registered Class II medical device. PEMF therapy has been FDA-cleared for several uses since 1979, including non-union fractures, failed joint fusions, and post-operative pain and swelling.
No—PEMF therapy has been around for decades. It was first FDA-approved in 1979 to treat non-union fractures and failed fusions, and is also recognized for its role in depression treatment. Backed by over 40 years of clinical research, PEMF works by stimulating the body’s natural healing processes. Though it’s gained popularity more recently—especially after NASA used it to help astronauts recover bone and muscle—its roots trace back to Nikola Tesla, who first explored the health benefits of electromagnetic fields.
Yes, PEMF therapy is generally safe for people with high blood pressure. However, it’s always best to check with your doctor before starting any new therapy.
You can safely use PEMF therapy daily, but no more than once per day. For best results, aim for at least twice a week. Chronic or long-standing issues may require longer treatment. Even after symptoms improve, continuing sessions helps support full healing and prevention. Think of it as ongoing care—because aging and wear never really stop.
Some people feel better after just one session, but most conditions require 6–10 treatments for noticeable, lasting results. Like exercise, consistency matters—benefits build over time. We offer protocols and discounted packages to support your progress. While there’s no set number, many clients see moderate relief by 4–6 sessions and significant improvement by 8–12.
PEMF therapy is safe for most people—young or old, active or sedentary—and offers benefits with no known side effects.
Do not use PEMF if you have:
Use caution with epilepsy—consult your doctor first.
Metal implants (like hips, knees, or shunts) are safe with our PEMF and far infrared mat.
Do not use if you have any of these conditions:
If a patient feels sick or their skin becomes clammy while using the blanket, it is highly recommended to stop the treatment immediately.

Yes! Studies show a 30-minute infrared sauna session can burn 400–600 calories—even more than jogging. As your body absorbs infrared heat, it increases circulation, boosts heart rate, and stimulates cellular energy (ATP), mimicking the effects of cardio exercise. You get the calorie-burning benefits while simply relaxing.
Infrared heat raises core body temperature, which can stimulate the release of Human Growth Hormone (HGH)—a hormone known to support fat metabolism and promote lean muscle growth. Because infrared saunas penetrate deeper than traditional heat, they’re more effective at triggering this response, even at lower, more comfortable temperatures. Over time, consistent use may help improve body composition by increasing muscle-to-fat ratio.
Please keep in mind, that like regular exercise and a healthy diet, to maintain ideal weight through infrared sauna therapy, it should become a regular practice. Inquire about our protocols and discount packages for best results!
Phototherapy patches contain a solution of crystals that reflect back your own body’s infrared light to transmit a biological message to initiate change in your cells. Each patch has a unique benefit, which can stimulate:
Decreased Pain
Reduced Inflammation
Strengthen and Stimulate Your Immune System
Improved Digestion
Help Sleep
Decreased Anxiety or Improve Mood
Improved Energy
The patches are hypoallergenic and achieve these results without adding ANY chemicals or medications to your body, making them safe for children and adults alike.
Many research studies have confirmed the success and effectiveness of these patches.
You can mix and match patches based on your current needs.
I am happy to schedule a FREE 15 Minute consultation with you to go over which patches are best for your health needs, where to place them and how to use them.
My recommendation is to wear the patches 1-3 months to see their benefits.
When you receive your patches, they will come with a booklet illustrating where to apply the patch. - For all the patches, you can wear them on the acupuncture points for 12 hours, and then you take 12 hours off and apply another one. Don’t worry if you wear them longer. - You’ll want to stay adequately hydrated, drink 8 ounces of water when you apply a patch and stay VERY well hydrated during the day.
